OUR SERVICES
Our experienced speech pathologists provide assessment and diagnosis for communication and swallowing disorders and may provide advice, intervention, treatment and counselling for the following:
- Voice: Concerns over quality and volume e.g. rough, soft, breathy and strained
- Speech: Articulation and acquired neurological disorders such as apraxia
- Language: Acquired difficulties with word knowledge, language processing, listening and the social aspects of communication. This also includes the comprehension and expression of spoken, written, non-verbal (signs symbols and gestures) modalities
- Cognitive communication: Attention, memory, problem solving, executive functions
- Oral: Pharyngeal, laryngeal and upper oesophageal swallowing functions, including feeding and acquired dysphagia
