Keep Moving delivers a caring and professional allied health services for individuals and home care package service providers to assist over 55s to stay healthy, active and independent. We are:

Mobile - We come to you, at a time that suits you.  Enjoy complete privacy as our physiotherapists bring the practice to your home, retirement village or aged care facility.  No carparks, waiting rooms or stairs!

Professional - Our friendly team of fully qualified and experienced physiotherapists understand the key issues faced by those over 55.  We're passionate about helping you to continue doing the things you enjoy.

Innovative - We pride ourselves on out client centred approach.  We work with you and in consultation with your GP, home care provider and other health care practitioners to keep you moving and achieving your goals


WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?


We currently service the Sydney's North, Northern Beaches, North Shore. If you are outside this area, please contact us and we will endeavour to arrange a service.

DO YOU HAVE A WAITING LIST?

We typically see new patients within a week of receiving a referral or contact - however at certain times we will have to wait for a short period until a time is available for a therapist to see you.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL?

No referral is needed for any of our services if you are a private patient.  To access Gold DVA cardholders benefits and Medicare rebates, patients do require a referral from their GP.

DO YOU ACCEPT DVA PATIENTS?

Yes, patients with a DVA Gold Card are eligible for services with a valid referral. White Card holders can sometimes be eligible - please contact us so we can check if you are eligible for the service with the DVA.

I'M ON A HOME CARE PACKAGE - CAN YOU HELP ME?

Absolutely! Please let your care co-odinator to check if your package has funding available and let them know you what service you would like to receive.  Tell them to contact us and we will take care of the rest!  We can also see you as a "non-package" client - you can then claim cost of service back on your health fund.

WILL YOU SEE ME IN AN AGED CARE FACILITY?

Yes, we do provide treatments to patients in aged care facilities. You simply need to advise the care staff that you have asked the Keep Moving Health team to come in to help you.

WHAT ARE YOUR CHARGES?

Charges vary depending on the type of service. Please call us to find out the fees for the particular service you require.

DO I GET A REBATE WITH MY PRIVATE HEALTH FUND?

Rebates are available with private health fund ancillary cover. The amount of rebate differs widely between funds and levels of cover. Your health fund can advise you of the rebate amount if you contact them.

CAN I RECEIVE THESE SERVICES UNDER MEDICARE?

We accept referrals under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management (formerly Enhanced Primary Care) program. This will enable you to receive a rebate for up to 5 allied health services in a calendar year.

WILL I NEED TO PAY ON THE DAY OF MY SERVICES?

For DVA clients we invoice the DVA directly.  If you are on a home care package we will invoice the provider directly.  If you are a private patient, we will provide an invoice at the time of service - you can either pay by cheque, cash or major credit cards.
